Frances van Dammen Art

I'm Frances van Dammen, a New Zealand artist working primarily in oils and acrylics. My paintings explore light, botanicals, and the quiet beauty of everyday life — from native NZ flora and birds to intimate interior scenes.

Over the past 20 years I have been represented by two Auckland galleries and have exhibited widely, including solo shows and invitational exhibitions at the Waikato Art Museum and The Suter Art Gallery. I am a recipient of the New Zealand Painting and Printmaking Award, and my work is held in several significant private and public collections.

Each piece is original and one of a kind, painted with care in my studio. I hope my work brings warmth and joy to the spaces it lives in.
